One of the cutest things about having these little fuzzbutts in our lives is watching them eat treats. However, the problem with this is that our little friends naturally have an OVERWHELMING “sweet-tooth” (moreso than almost any other animal) - and since nobody has come out with a teeeeny, tiiiiiiiny little toothbrush yet - this can present a BIG problem as they start to grow up.
According to the Association of Sugar Glider Veterinarians ( www.ASGV.org), one of the most serious medical problems faced by sugar gliders as they grow up are DENTAL issues associated with eating all the things they love the most (fruits, veggies, sweet treats, etc.) - and that's EXACTLY why “Gran-OH-la!” was invented!
Gran-OH-la! Dental Health Biscuits are the result of years of extensive formulation and testing. They are certified 100% GliderSafe, and have PROVEN provide just the right balance of valuable dental abrasion, digestive 'roughage', and important vitamins & nutrients - all in one crunchy, YUMMY little treat!
Just ¼ of a biscuit every day does the job - and a single bag typically lasts an entire YEAR!
My two have only had the original flavor. They like them; however, when I just got these strawberry ones, they loved them plus as they eat them it makes my room smell like strawberries lol
At first Rocky loved the coating but not the biscuit. I tried soaking in fruit juice but he still did not like the biscuit. Now I chop it into small pieces and it is gone by morning. I can't give too much or too often because it will fill his little tummy and he wont eat much of his daily food.
My sugar gliders Yoda loves his biscuits. I give it to him as a treat while I'm trimming his nails.
Wow they just love these, moderation is so true
My little fur baby loves this treat! I'm so glad there is something that helps his teeth and also something he loves! Would recommend
My babies went wild over these. I played a Virgil and tried a little tidbit and was pretty tasty. Just could not resist. Lol! I thank you again Virgil for healthy treats that are not only tasty but beneficial for their overall health.
My little guy loves...to lick the coating off these biscuits. Not sure he's ever eaten the biscuit itself! I find the dried out pieces here and there. So I don't know how much dental benefit he's getting, and I'm hoping the coating isn't actually sugar on his teeth. But he sure does like that part of it!
